jecook is a writer who lives on Cape Cod, MA with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Brewster and Snow. In 2021, she placed second for the Glenwood Clark Prize in Fiction at the William & Mary Student Literary Awards for the short story, “Tavio, and Manuelo”, as well as being featured in various university literary magazines. While pursuing a minor in Creative Writing, she worked in different school libraries. Later, she spent a year as a Barnes & Noble bookseller. Nowadays, she sells doors and windows at a local lumber yard.
