In 2021, she placed second for the Glenwood Clark Prize in Fiction at the William & Mary Student Literary Awards for the short story, “Tavio, and Manuelo”, as well as being featured in various university literary magazines. While pursuing a minor in Creative Writing, she worked in different school libraries. Later, she spent a year as a Barnes & Noble bookseller. Nowadays, she sells doors and windows at a local lumber yard.
